AREA:
The atlas covers the entire coast south of the Flemish Pass and includes the three main petroleum provinces of West Newfoundland, the Grand Banks (including Jeanne D'Arc) and the Scotian Shelf.
CONTENT:
This regional atlas, a joint venture with KP Seismic and ARK Geophysics, contains a substantial database, in excess of 3,000 km, of scanned and reprocessed seismic data. A selection of representative well logs and synthetics tied to interpreted seismic lines, together with enclosures depicting surface geology, tectonics; (supported by potential field data), reservoir and source rock distribution and quality are used to develop play concepts and fairways.
